This particular tablet turns out to be barley accounting, as you probably expected, but it's still supercool.

Would 100% buy some 3D-printed tablets of Gilgamesh. Or almost anything really.

Maybe the medical imaging guy didn't actually just wander in on his lunch break? But I love the origin story.

I am having a weird problem with the link you have provide to the youtube. I click on it, and it opens up your whole entry as though I had clicked on looking at comments, or the "Science Buddies" title. So I thought I would be clever and copy the code in the brackets and past it into a new window - it turns into the code for your entry as soon as I paste.

I tried to look directly in youtube - oh dear.

you're quite welcome! the text is something prosaic, but who cares, it's in cuneiform. i drink my not-coffee out of this mug most mornings and it brings great delight. it's also a very nice mug, as an object, notwithstanding decoration.
