You handily maneuver a chair onto the stage and wedge it between the shopworn sides of T. Axe and R. Bitt, knocking off a few loose scales and sequins as you do.
Unfortunately, R. Bitt's ears are the highest point in the whole ensemble, and while from the chair you can get pretty close, you can't reach the paper without leaning a lot of your weight on the animatronic and possibly damaging it or knocking it over. (Or just getting musty bits of necro-fur all over yourself.)
If only there were some way to get the paper to come down on its own.
