[ETA] My answer is very dull (phone, keys, wallet). I am at least wearing my Dress Shorts (no cargo pockets). I am impressed, though, by how much people can fit in their pockets.

Oh! I also currently have a card for a local toy and memorabilia shop, for educational reasons.

Basically I always have all this stuff in my pockets because if I had to think about it, then I'll forget everything. My wallet even has a chain now because it slips out. A bit annoying. Actually I bought a new vegan wallet in Greece, I should try it out for a while and see if I can do without the chain.

It's not always the same cool rock. Sometimes I have a cool rock. Sometimes seeds. Sometimes just a gum wrapper. I kept a few of the rocks that were really cool as a few were gifts from my boyfriend, who always has cool rocks in his pocketses.

Left Front: Wallet, fingernail clippers.
Right Front: Change, handkerchief, knife, 2 sharpies, 1 pen, 1 sharpener for tools, four bits of plastic from stripping wire while fencing.
Left Rear: paper money.
Right Rear: Comb, earplugs

That is about standard. Sometimes a pocket also has one of a variety of hand tools, pruning shears, pliers etc.

Alas that my favorite pants lack belt loops! (I go around in yoga pants, essentially.) But I will look into this, thank you.

Luckily for you, they do not require belt loops. :) They tie around the waist with a string. Since a lot of people do wear pants with belt loops, a single pocket can also be tied through two adjacent loops and not have to go through the whole going-around-the-waist business. In skirts or leggings, tying around the waist is more comfortable.

Hoodie kangaroo pocket: plastic-coated twist tie that was meant to be there for the length of the trip to a garbage can but is instead remained for about a week.
