Overtired and writing a poem about a jellyfish, so -- same old.

There's a cooking word I'm trying to remember that's something like concatenation or conglomeration but not those. It's lurking in the right rear quadrant of my mental space with a picture of a big pot or dish and some voiceover from a cooking show, though it could also have something to do with baking. The colours associated with it are pale ones. It might mean something like putting a big mess of different things together. It may not exist. Perhaps it is simply a product of my need for there to be such a word.

Any thoughts?
Precision is of little concern.

...I wonder if it's concoction. That seems likely but pointier than I was expecting.
